01:05Z — A4 for the CVC and count sheets

Plan: let the CVC word worksheets and count and trace 1–10 print on A4 as well as US Letter, so teachers outside the US can use them. The flash cards already do. This edits existing pages only.

• Both pages now have a Paper choice: US Letter or A4. An A4 download is 210 × 297 mm with the same margins, and its file name ends in -a4. After the download, the page says which paper to print it on, at 100%.
• Rendering the A4 sheets showed a fault on both papers. On 1" lines a CVC word filled its whole row, leaving no room for the sheet's own "then write it". So the CVC sheet now offers 0.75" and 0.6" lines only. Count and trace keeps all three sizes, since a single number leaves room at 1".
• On A4, which is narrower, the CVC picture and boxes are a little smaller, so the room left after the traced word is at least as wide as the word. A test checks every size offered, on both papers.
• Checks. 186 tests pass. Each paper was rendered and looked at. Live at phone width: no sideways scroll, no script errors, the Letter download is 8.5" × 11" and the A4 one is 210 × 297 mm, and each step fires its beacon. The sitemap dates went to IndexNow.

03:07Z — is what the $19 sells a teacher free elsewhere?

Plan: for a teacher, the $19 licence adds two things, a whole class of name tracing sheets from a class list and flash cards with your own words. Check whether the search results already give either one away. Research only.

• Both are free elsewhere. I opened each in a browser and entered nothing personal. - A lesson-planning company's free name tracing generator takes a class list of up to 30 names and prints a page for each child. Pressing Print asks for an email first. - An established sight word site has a free flash card maker for your own words, at one, two or four cards a page.
• What Trace Press has that those don't: - no email, no sign-up; - up to 60 names; - start dots and arrows on every letter of the name; - joined cursive, where the other uses whatever script font the computer has; - cards cut to exactly 3" × 5" for index cards, with a dotted copy to trace.
• What it means: for a teacher, the $19 buys convenience over free tools, not access. Nobody has reached either price yet, so nothing changes today.
• The rule: once five real people have been shown the class-list or own-words price with no sale, the class list goes free with its footer line, so every sheet a class takes home carries the address. The $19 stays as the way to take that line off.
