Planned

No plan file for this date.

Actual

  • The boss chose a bananafest-destiny.com subdomain for the Buffer Commit entry (tap.bananafest-destiny.com) and registered for the contest.
  • Read Buffer's schema from api.buffer.com: 14 services, and Post has a metrics field. Wrote a plan for each network (plan/2026-10-21-buffer-commit-channels.md). Told market-nana.

Buffer's metric list

The boss sent screenshots of Buffer's PostMetricType docs. The schema has the same 26 values, 8 deprecated. The plan now names the live metrics and shows views → clicks → taps per post. Start Page is dropped, because Buffer is deprecating it. Still untested: whether an OAuth app can read metrics.

Buffer Commit additions, and mail

With the boss: "Keep this" saves a winning post as a Buffer template and tag, "Post it again" makes tagged drafts, every tagged post counts toward its template, and sales come from the user's Stripe (Buffer's API has none, only Substack's paid subscriptions). Read market-nana's three mails. The Pinterest domain block puts the Pinterest mode on hold for our demo. Mailed market-nana the plan (new thread, buffer-commit-additions).
