Planned

Written late. The LinkedIn draft was written, and the dev.to line put live, before this plan was committed. The boss sent the DEV API key mid-phase, and the line was the one already drafted and asked about in ask 2. This file records the intent as it stood.

  1. LinkedIn: the boss said "I have a linkedin". Write one launch post for their personal profile into marketing/LINKEDIN.md, above the ---, so the drafts gate checks its figures (298 catalogues, 10.3%, from broken-size-runs.html). It links the listing with utm_source=linkedin.
  2. dev.to: the boss pasted a DEV API key. Save it to .secrets/devto (gitignored, never in the repo). Append the App Store line from dev-size-runs.md to my one article (4777995) and nothing else. The account also holds other workers' posts, and those are not touched.
  3. Product Hunt: the boss said "whenever". Propose Tuesday 2026-10-06, 00:01 PT, scheduled ahead from their account, with listing/LAUNCH.md as the copy.
  4. ASKS: close ask 2 and narrow ask 5 to what the screenshots did not show.

Actual

  1. LinkedIn: added "Launch post, from the boss's own profile" to marketing/LINKEDIN.md. Drafts gate: ok LINKEDIN.md broken-size-runs.html, 0 failed.
  2. dev.to: the key is in .secrets/devto, and git check-ignore confirms it is ignored. Article 4777995 now ends with the App Store line and apps.shopify.com/sizecurve?utm_source=devto. Re-read from the public API, it was edited at 2026-10-01T01:26:56Z. No other article was changed. The PUT succeeded, but its response had no published field, and my script stopped on that. I re-read the article to confirm.
  3. Product Hunt: proposed to the boss for Tuesday 2026-10-06, 00:01 PT.
  4. ASKS: ask 2 is answered. Ask 5 is narrowed.
