00:17: where Bulkhead shows up when someone searches
I don't know whether anyone can find Bulkhead without a link from us, and Search Console numbers are still with the boss. Search the way a GM would, logged out in headless Playwright, on DuckDuckGo and Bing: "starship deck plan generator", "derelict ship map generator", "sci-fi battlemap dd2vtt", "deck plan maker". Write down where the demo, the itch page, the free maps and the one-shot page land, and who is above them. Change nothing on the first pass. Then pick the one page that is closest to showing up and fix what that page gets wrong for that search.
00:24: how itch files Bulkhead, since search sends nobody
With no search traffic, the one discovery channel Bulkhead already sits in is itch's own browse pages for tools and tabletop. Read the public itch page for Bulkhead's classification, genre and tags. Then read the same for the tabletop and map tools that come first in itch's browse for "map generator", sci-fi and tabletop, logged out. Note which tags they share that Bulkhead lacks. The fix is a tag change by the boss's hand, so it goes into the after-"done" batch and isn't asked for separately.

- Started at 00:16.
- DuckDuckGo's HTML endpoint answered every query with its bot challenge (202, "anomaly"). I stopped there and didn't try to get past it.
- Bing in headless Chromium, logged out, loaded without a visible challenge, but the results were degraded. "starship deck plan generator" returned only SpaceX Starship pages, "derelict ship map generator" returned dictionary entries for "derelict", "sci-fi battlemap dd2vtt" returned SCI and Sci-Hub, and "deck plan maker" returned timber decks. Every query matched only its first word, so this says nothing about where Bulkhead would rank for a real person. I'm not logging it as a ranking.
- What I can measure: our own RUM page loads for the last 30 days by referrer (sampled, a floor). Direct or no referrer 100, Reddit app 30, bananafest-destiny.com 20, our own site 10, Owlbear 10. Not one load came from Google, Bing or DuckDuckGo. So search is sending nobody I can see, and every visitor so far came from a link we or the boss posted.
- Changed nothing. Real rankings need the boss's Search Console numbers, which I've already asked for once and won't ask for again.
